We have spent a substantial amount of time in each and every one of our holiday destinations researching all the best walks for you as well as meticulously inspecting hotels so that you can benefit from our first-hand knowledge and make the most of your holiday.
  
Your tour pack is brimming with all the information you will need for an enjoyable and worry-free holiday.  The tour pack will be sent to you by postal delivery around 3-4 weeks prior to the start of your holiday.  One tour pack per party.

TOUR PACK CONTENT: 

WALKING NOTES* - written walking notes (in English, waterproofed) with clear and concise directions for the best self-guided walks and rambles in your holiday region. 
  
WALKING MAP* - relevant to your chosen holiday, each tour pack contains an easy-to-read walking map of the local area.  The maps we provide are good-quality European maps, usually at a scale of 1:50,000 (and occasionally 1:25,000 or 1:30,000). 

HOTEL VOUCHER – a document that proves you have prepaid for your accommodation and which must be presented upon check-in at the hotel. 

DETAILED HOTEL INFORMATION - the hotel’s name, its postal and email address, a brief description of the hotel, travel directions and the hotel’s telephone number. 

LOCAL INFORMATION - useful contacts and information on locally available services. 
   
WHAT TO BRING? You will receive a detailed list of suggested clothing and walking equipment.

GERMAN PHRASE BOOK (or other language if appropriate) – whether you want to sample the local beer, buy a cable car ticket or simply find out what time the local bank opens, this phrase book will help you all the way. 

ROAD MAP & DRIVING DIRECTIONS - directions from your arrival airport to your holiday location, plus a main road map of the country you’re visiting.

Winter Holidays - our winter holidays are different from our standard walking holidays: specially prepared winter walking trails offer a variety of winter scenery and as the days are shorter so are the walks.  Please note that no suggestions for specific walks will be made and no walking notes will be provided.  Instead, where available, we will supply a local (winter) map outlining winter walking and cross-country skiing trails.  In addition, we will supply you with information on other things to do and to try out locally - we have discovered some beautiful places that offer a wide range of alternative activities such as cross-country skiing (with cross-country ski hire available), guided snowshoeing (with snowshoe hire available), tobogganing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, wellness facilities…to name but a few. 

Note: we charge customers living outside the EU an additional €20 per tour pack to cover the additional postage costs.
