The Dolomites are, in fact, the south-eastern Alps. These stunningly beautiful ramparts of pink-white limestone are famous for mountain meadows covered in richly-coloured wildflowers, picturesque Rifugios, exhilarating Via Ferratas and, of course, the superlative walking.
South Tyrol, “the land that time forgot”, is an amazing experience! Take in the rich history and scenic villages, the panorama of wild mountain grandeur, colourful landscapes overflowing with fruit, vineyards, flowers… This area of the eastern Italian Alps, where Italian and German traditions, culture and language exist side-by-side, is known, officially, as Alto Adige and contains some of the most spectacular scenery in Italy.
