GERMANY, BAVARIA
- Munich - Holiday Code CAO1
Munich
- cosmopolitan city with heart, charm and Oktoberfest
fame

"Munich nestles between art and
beer like a village between hills." Originally
written by Heinrich Heine some 150 years ago, these
words remain true today.
You have to experience Munich for yourself!
Munich (München in German) is Germany's third largest
city and one of Europe's most prosperous. Located on
the River Isar north of the Bavarian Alps, Munich is
a new city "built over the old" (after World
War II) and it's filled with both, ancient and modern
treasures. It is an important cultural center and there
are museums and galleries on every imaginable subject.
In addition, Bavaria's capital boasts an array of excellent
restaurants.
This wonderfully charming city is
also home to the world-famous Oktoberfest.
