The owner of TouchingNature.co.uk, Magdalena Seifert, set up the business in 2005. Her simple but effective philosophy is to offer information on walking and great accommodation in the countries she knows and loves – aimed specifically at the English-speaking market.
Having lived, worked and studied in Ireland and the UK for over 13 years, and been involved in the activity travel, marketing, hospitality, and tourism industry for over 20 years, Magdalena brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to TouchingNature.co.uk. She has managed to convert what is, essentially, a personal passion, into a small but well-run business. She is a seasoned traveller and a qualified Mountain Leader. Over the years she has organised and led numerous walking trips for groups throughout Ireland, Great Britain and the Alps. Her personal walking experience spans much of Europe, as well as Africa and North America.
